I've been reading a lot of Mother Teresa's writing recently. I purchased
a copy of Mother Teresa: No Greater Love at a second-hand bookshop, and although I didn't expect to, I love this book. I am only part way through it and already have so much underlined. The text above came from a greeting card I received for my birthday. If you'd like to read something a little deeper, from her book, you can find it at my other blog hereAnd this is from the back cover:
What we need is to love without getting tired.
How does a lamp burn?
Through the continuous input of small drops of oil.
What are these drops of oil in our lamps?
They are the small things of daily life:
faithfulness
small words of kindness
a thought for others
our way of being silent
of looking
of speaking
and of acting.
Do not look for Jesus away from yourselves.
He is not out there;
He is in you.
Keep your lamp burning,
and you will recognize Him.

I have to admit that I was distracted from the writings by the beautiful design at the right side. It is exactly my style.
